Why you can save a small fortune on your Amazon Purchases

Whilst chatting with a friend of mine on Instant Messanger earlier he mentioned that he’d made an interesting find on.

You see, he was searching through the terms and conditions on Amazon’s website and noticed this point:

“Amazon’s prices for released items will change from time to time based on a variety of factors. If Amazon’s price for an already-released item decreases within 30 days after we ship the item to you, we’ll be glad to refund the difference in price if you contact us within that 30-day period.”

How did they keep this quiet? !

So if I buy something today and next week Amazon drop the price by 20% then I can claim that 20% reduction !  I can see why they’ve buried that away in their Terms and Conditions. It could cost them loads of money!

But the problem is who’s going to have time to keep going back and checking and rechecking to see if their buys have been reduced in price?

This set me off searching the Internet for a way around this.

It seems that up until recently the only way that these price drops could be found was either by remembering every purchase you have made or by wading through all your email receipts one at a time. And after that visiting Amazon to find out the price. Yawn!

Then I hit upon this price protector site.

All you have to do is to enter the Amazon product code, the price paid, the date you bought the thing (these details can be found in your Amazon account page) and an email address. The site will then let you know if the product drops in price 30 days after you bought it.  Then all you do is ask Amazon for the refund by filling in a simple form.

It’s so easy I was astonished !

So if you fancy saving some dosh why not check out Price Drop Protector and saving money!
